2-Day Intensive Seminar

A unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of Pilates movement mechanics — from pelvic and spinal stabilization to a contemporary expansion of the classical Reformer and Cadillac repertoire.

This seminar is designed for Pilates trainers, fitness professionals, physiotherapists, and movement enthusiasts with foundational knowledge of classical Pilates exercises on the mat and equipment. Whether you work with private clients or group sessions, this intensive will elevate your understanding of movement mechanics and expand your teaching repertoire.

Aim:

To provide a deeper understanding of pelvic, spinal, and scapular movement mechanics, and to offer a contemporary perspective on classical Pilates equipment exercises — empowering you to teach with greater precision, creativity, and respect for the method.

What You Will Learn:

Day 1 — Movement Mechanics: Pelvis, Spine & Scapular Girdle

  • Mobilization and Stabilization of the Pelvis and Spine: Understand the mechanics of pelvic and lumbar spine movement to effectively work on their stabilization and mobilization through Mat and/or Equipment exercises and modifications.
  • Scapular Girdle Mobilization: Understand the mechanics of scapular girdle movement to work on its stabilization and mobilization through Mat and/or Equipment exercises and modifications.

Day 2 — Expanding the Classical Pilates Equipment Repertoire

  • Reformer — A Contemporary Perspective: Starting from each exercise in the Classical Pilates Protocol, Ricardo offers a contemporary perspective, paying attention to the nature of movement while preserving its essence.
  • Cadillac Extension — New Possibilities Within the Method: Starting from a selection of exercises from the Classical Chair Repertoire, Ricardo incorporates additional movement planes, guiding you toward variations that preserve and expand their essence, as well as new proposals that remain respectful of the Method.
